The 7th Budapest LNG Summit, the leading gas and LNG conference in Central and South-Eastern Europe, will be held on 7 May 2026 at the Hotel Marriott Budapest. The high-level forum will gather senior energy executives, policymakers, transmission system operators, LNG terminal representatives and financial experts from more than 25 countries to discuss the strategic challenges shaping the region’s gas markets.

As Europe accelerates diversification efforts and strengthens energy security, LNG and cross-border infrastructure have become central pillars of the regional energy landscape. The 2026 edition will focus on geopolitics, infrastructure investments, market integration and the evolving global LNG outlook, with key industry players including the International Energy Agency, MET International, SOCAR, BOTAŞ, MVM Onergy, FGSZ, Gastrade, Bulgartransgaz and Eustream.

Discussions will cover global LNG market trends, regional supply security, the development of the Vertical Corridor, and the expansion of LNG terminals, storage facilities and interconnectors across Central and South-Eastern Europe.

The Budapest LNG Summit is a premier platform for strategic dialogue and high-level networking. As global LNG markets enter a new phase of expansion, the 2026 edition aims to foster cooperation and support informed decision-making for the next chapter of gas development in the region.
