Ampol launches AmpCharge home EV charging solution

After unveiling its 100th public charger, the company has expanded its range of solutions to enable home charging for customers across Australia.
Ampol has introduced the AmpCharge home electric vehicle (EV) charging solution, marking a significant advancement in its e-mobility ecosystem.
The new AmpCharge home chargers are now available nationwide, enabling customers to conveniently charge their EVs at home. This launch is a key milestone in the company’s commitment to enhancing the customer experience throughout their journey.
This initiative adds to a comprehensive suite of products and services that facilitate EV charging at forecourts, various destinations, and now in the comfort of home.
"Having recently unveiled our 100th AmpCharge public charger bay and our first 'at-destination' chargers at Sydney's East Village Shopping Centre, we recognize that our electric vehicle charging ecosystem has the potential to play a critical role in helping customers reduce their transport emissions. Installation of the AmpCharge home chargers is available across Australia, and customers can purchase the chargers directly from the Ampol AmpCharge website.
Additionally, customers will have access to the AmpCharge Driver Portal, allowing them to schedule and monitor charging sessions from home when connected to the internet.
