Asda claims to be first chain to display daily fuel prices online in the UK

Prices of each station will be available alongside other key information through the store locator pages in the brand’s website.
Asda has announced that it will publish local fuel prices online to allow motorists to check the price of petrol or diesel before they get in their car. The retailer claimed to become the first supermarket to make such information available through its website.
Fuel prices at each filling station will be available alongside other key information on the Asda Store Locator pages in the company’s official website. The data will go live at 10.30 AM (UK time) each morning and will show the previous day’s closing price.
Asda is continuing to develop a system that will show real-time pricing and expects this to be in place in the coming months. The retailer also mentioned that is continuing to work collaboratively with the Government as they develop an industry-wide fuel finder scheme.
