The company launched the initiative in Bhubaneshwar to cater to the fueling needs of nearby locations such as IT hubs, hotels and apartments.

Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has announced the launch of a door-to-door delivery service in the city of Bhubaneshwar.
Customers will now be able to get their fuel supplied with just a phone call. BPCL stated that this service is intended to address the fuel needs of nearby Chandaka and Mancheswar industrial estates, IT hubs, hotels, and apartments.
“This will be of great help especially for apartments and big offices which have generators. It often becomes difficult for them to get the fuel in time,” said Bikrant Jena, president of Kalvik Villa resident welfare association, according to a report by The Times of India.
The delivery service has been commissioned from the chain’s Khandagiri fuel station. It will encompass a mobile van equipped with a tanker that can store up to 6,000 liters of diesel and will be operated by two staff members.
