Over 120 stores now live on the app, with full rollout expected by March.

Circle K Ireland has announced a national partnership with Too Good to Go, the surplus food marketplace app, aiming to reduce food waste across Ireland. More than 120 stores are already live on the app, and the company plans to have all its Irish locations onboard by the end of March, making it one of Too Good to Go’s largest partners in the country.
Through the partnership, customers can purchase a Circle K “Deal for Two Surprise Bag” for €4.99, which typically includes two sandwiches and two pastries worth €15 at full price. The initiative offers fresh, quality food at an affordable price while preventing waste.
“Our customers want practical, sustainable solutions that help them reduce food waste in their everyday routines,” said Gillian McGowran, Director of Market Development at Circle K. “By partnering with Too Good to Go, we’re reducing food waste on a national scale while giving customers greater choice and convenience.”
Research by Too Good to Go shows that 80% of Irish adults are concerned about food waste, and one in three throw away food bought on the go at least once a week. “Partnering with Circle K is a huge step forward in our mission to save good food from going to waste across Ireland,” said Machaela O’Leary, Sales Manager at Too Good to Go.
The app, which launched in 2016, now has over 880,000 users in Ireland and 1,800 participating stores. Globally, it has saved 500 million meals, avoiding 1.3 million tonnes of CO₂ emissions.
