Copec Voltex powers FedEx electric fleet in Chile

The company has equipped the delivery firm’s distribution center in Pudahuel with charging points for the newly arrived electric fleet.

FedEx Express has welcomed its first electric vehicles (EVs) to be integrated into its pickup and delivery fleet in Chile. The fleet will be powered by Copec Voltex, the Chilean fuel retailer's electromobility equipment brand.

This arrival is part of the delivery company's comprehensive and systematic plan to reac its goal of completing a 100% electric fleet by 2040.

The new vehicles will be based at the FedEx Distribution Center in Pudahuel, the largest in South America dedicated to the distribution of small e-commerce parcels. The facility has been expanded to 14,000 m2 and has electrical capacity for the implementation of Copec Voltex charging stations.

The brand is also present in the country through a network of fast charging equipment that covers 1,400 kilometers. between Coquimbo and Araucanía. This network offers a more sustainable and efficient delivery experience to customers.
