EG Group, Musket Corp. sign procurement deal in Europe

The agreement is expected to complement EG Group’s existing supply options in the Benelux.

Musket Corp., and EG Group have entered a long-term procurement agreement with an initial focus on Europe’s Benelux region. The agreement is expected to complement EG Group’s existing supply options with its refined products and biofuels supply chains.
“By combining EG Group’s European retail footprint with Musket’s global end-user network we aim to find synergies and economies of scale for both parties,” said JP Fjeld-Hansen, executive vice president of Musket.
Since 2001, Musket has been the integrated fuel trading and supply enterprise for Love’s Travel Stops in the United States. They are responsible for ensuring Love’s 650 travel stops and country stores, across 42 states are stocked with fuel for professional drivers and casual customers. In 2023, Musket established European operations with headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland, which extended its established commodity supply and logistics platform.

In June, EG Group sold its UK forecourt businesses to co-founder Zuber Issa for £228 million.
