Acquisition of three sites and a new joint venture strengthens the brand’s footprint in the Daytona Beach area.
El Car Wash is expanding its network in Central Florida through the acquisition of three Splash Express Car Wash locations and the creation of a joint venture aimed at future regional growth. The agreement brings two sites in Port Orange and one in Ormond Beach under El Car Wash’s ownership and operational control, while establishing a long‑term partnership with Splash’s founders.
The move aligns with El Car Wash’s strategy to scale through targeted acquisitions and market densification. The Florida‑based operator has been growing rapidly in recent years, combining new developments with selective deals to reinforce its presence across key markets.
“This new venture reflects our game plan to own the premier assets in our core markets,” said Mike Hill, Director of Integration at El Car Wash. “Splash has built a loyal following in their communities, and we’re excited to continue to deliver the exceptional service Splash customers expect while accelerating growth in the area.”
The Splash Express Car Wash brand will remain in place for now. For Splash co‑owner Steve Schlossberg, selecting the right operator was essential. “We’ve built this business with a deep commitment to our customers, employees, and our community, and El Car Wash shares that same philosophy,” he said.
El Car Wash continues to expand across Florida and Michigan, supported by a strategy that blends disciplined acquisitions, ground‑up development and investment in customer experience and team culture.
