Twelve fast-charging points expand the company’s charging network and offer customers a convenient location to stroll in the marina or on the beach.

Visitors to Heiligenhafen can now charge their electric vehicles (EVs) while strolling along the promenade or on the beach at EnBW’s newest charging location.
The company and Heiligenhafen's public transport company have established a fast-charging park directly at the marina, near the Baltic Sea. A total of twelve high-performance charging points are available for drivers to charge up to 400 kilometers of range in 20 minutes with up to 300 kilowatts of power - and with a view of the sea.
This new charging site enables drivers a continuous journey all the way to Berlin or the Dutch border.
"By expanding the nationwide fast-charging infrastructure, we are playing a key role in the success of e-mobility. This is also demonstrated by our fast-charging park in Heiligenhafen, which, like all our charging locations, we operate with 100% green electricity," explained Jürgen Stein, Chief Innovation & New Business Officer at EnBW and head of e-mobility.
EnBW operates the largest fast-charging network in Germany with over 5,000 charging points at retail outlets, in cities and in long-distance transport. The company expects to have around 120,000 fast charging points by 2030, which will cover the total demand for public charging infrastructure in Germany.
