Endesa to power Huelva City Council’s electric bus fleet

The company will be responsible for installation and maintenance of five battery chargers with a 180 kW power capacity which are able to charge 10 buses simultaneously.

Endesa has signed a new partnership with Huelvas City Council for installing a new batch of charging points for the city’s electric bus fleet.
Through this agreement, the company will be responsible for installing five double battery chargers. This process also includes maintenance operations for the charging infrastructure. The equipment provides 180 kW of charging power and 2 CCS2 connectors each, allowing a total of 10 electric buses to be powered simultaneously.
In addition, Endesa is installing a new 1,000 kVA transformer station in the City Council’s depot to supply electricity to these charging points.
With this new partnership, Endesa is currently powering more than 660 electric buses in Spain with over 440 charging points awarded between all the projects in which it participates. The company is collaborating with 15 city councils throughout the main territories of Spain.
