Georgia welcomes a new Love’s Travel Center

The new location adds 79 truck parking spaces and 140 jobs in West Point.
Love’s Travel Stops is now serving customers in West Point, Georgia, with a new location that opened recently. The site adds 140 jobs and 79 truck parking spaces to Troup County, occupying over 1,500 m2.
As part of the brand’s retail offer, the location offers bean-to-cup gourmet coffee, brand-name snacks and a Mobile to Go Zone store. In addition, it includes showers and laundry facilities, a CAT scale for trucks, RV hookups, and a total of seven diesel bays.
“Love’s is thrilled to add another customer-focused location in the state of Georgia, with our new opening in West Point. This store guarantees the many amenities that make Love’s a highway attraction for customers, including clean restrooms, various food options, parking, and much more,” said Shane Wharton, President of Love’s.
The facility also offers customers two different QSR restaurants: a Godfather's Pizza location and aHardy's. A Speedco location is also set to be opened on November 29th.
In honor of the grand opening, Love’s will donate $2,000 split between West Point Park and Joy Inside Tears, last one being a non-profit organization created to shed light on suicide prevention and mental health.
