Influencer couple got married at an OXXO convenience store

Genaro and Alondra won a contest launched by the chain through social media in which over 300 couples shared their love story.
Genaro and Alondra, a couple of content creators, celebrated their wedding at an OXXO convenience store in Mexico as part of a contest launched by the chain for Valentine's Day.
The ceremony took place at an OXXO store located in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Family and friends of the couple attended to the wedding, held as a prize of the #DiloConOXXO contest the brand launched through social media.
Over 300 couples shared their love story for a chance to win, with Genaro and Alondra's being chosen by the jury as the most emotional and funniest.
"It was in this search to continue innovating to offer more to our consumers, that we decided to take the transactional part to something more emotional and we came up with the idea of celebrating love in other ways and that is how this first wedding at OXXO came about," explained Rossina Rodriguez, OXXO Brand Manager.
The couple will also enjoy their honeymoon in Puerto Vallarta during the weekend, where the newlyweds will be able to enjoy fun activities organized by the retailer.
