Maverik has partnered with Comdata to accept its FLEETCOR fuel card across its diesel fueling network in the United States. 86 sites from an entire network of 400 locations will now welcome professional drivers who pay with the card for fuel and convenience store products.

The news is part of the brand’s plans to expand via new store openings, via its Kum & Go acquisition, and tapping into new business lines. Once the purchase is confirmed, the brand will have access to a total footprint of over 800 c-stores.

“Comdata offers fleet cards and fleet fueling services to thousands and we’re excited to now be able to serve even more customers on the road with the great food, products, value, service and convenience that Maverik is known for,” said Kerby Cate, director of commercial fuels marketing at Maverik, according to a report by NACS.

The chain’s ambition is to target commercial haulers across its US network. The retailer announced a month ago its partnership with TruckSmarter to offer transport drivers cardless payments and discounts.

Maverik is based in Salt Lake City, Utah, and operates over 400 retail locations across Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, New Mexico, Nebraska, Nevada, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.
