OXXO GAS will donate over 12,800 liters to charitable organizations

The donation will serve the different institutions in their mobility operations for a maximum of 3 months.

OXXO GAS has announced the winners of its “Litros con Causa” invitation for civil organizations. The winning entities have already been selected and the retailer will donate over 12,800 liters of fuel to the charities.

Applicant institutions had to meet certain requirements, such as being authorized donors, prove that they are self-sustaining, proof that the donation will be used within a maximum of three months, and committing to share the results.

The winners are Integra A.B.P., Guerreros en la vida y en la cancha A.C., Querer y hacer por Chapala A.C., Instituto Mexicano de Oftalmología I.A.P. and Centro de Asesoría y Promoción Juvenil A.C. All entities support vulnerable citizens who are in need of health, food or education.

"We believe we are the energy that can move our communities in improving their quality of life, and for this reason, the 'Litros Con Causa' initiative was born, because by donating fuel to non-profit organizations, we help them to continue carrying out their social causes and, thus, together, continue to have a positive impact in the community," said Jaime Longoria, CEO of Combustibles OXXO GAS.

The "Litros Con Causa" program has existed since 2020, and since then, OXXO GAS has donated more than 120,000 liters of fuel to different civil organizations.
