Q8 has expanded the range of services available across its Belgium fuel retail network with the introduction of in-car payments.

By partnering with ryd, the retailer now provides access to in-car payments at around 900 service stations, making digital fueling more convenient for drivers and further integrating it into daily life.

The partnership benefits all ryd ecosystem users, including those using the app, in-car payment services, and car-sharing platforms like MILES and POPPY. Car-sharing users can now enjoy easier refueling at these stations, streamlining their experience and improving operational efficiency for operators.

“Partnering with ryd allows us to offer a broader range of modern and efficient fueling experiences to our customers. With ryd's payment technology, in-car payment is a next step in transforming the way people fuel up at our stations, making it faster, safer, and more user-friendly," said Cedric Mobouck, Strategy and Customer Experience Manager Fleet at Q8

Founded in 2014, ryd is one of the largest European networks for vehicle related in-car payment services and is available in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Denmark, Portugal and Spain.

As a global company, Q8 is one of the top energy providers in Europe. With close to 5.000 service stations in the continent, of which over 700 are located in the Benelux region, operating under the brands Q8, Q8 easy and Tango.
