Partnership expands home charging solutions and public access to Kia’s fast-charging network.

Repsol and Kia have renewed their strategic alliance to accelerate the adoption of e-mobility in Spain. Under this agreement, the manufacturer’s customers will have access to the energy company’s charging solutions, including the installation of charging points at homes and businesses, along with benefits tied to energy services.
Customers opting for a home charger will enjoy special pricing for installation, managed entirely by Repsol, from setup to handling government incentives, ensuring convenience and efficiency. Those who subscribe to the retailer’s electricity plans and charger maintenance will receive additional perks, such as Waylet balance, discounts on electricity bills, and benefits for charging at Repsol’s public network.
In addition, more than 175 Kia dealership chargers, mainly fast-charging units in strategic locations, will become publicly accessible through integration with Waylet. This move reinforces both companies’ commitment to accessibility and innovation.
“Collaborating with a leading manufacturer like Kia allows us to expand our value proposition and accelerate electric mobility adoption,” said Oliver Fernández, Director of E-Mobility at Repsol. Eduardo Divar, General Manager of Kia, added: “Working alongside Repsol helps us promote sustainable mobility and make electrification a reality.”
This alliance builds on previous milestones, including the creation of WiBLE in 2018 and a strategic agreement in 2020, both aimed at transforming Spain’s energy and mobility landscape.
Repsol currently operates over 2,800 public charging points across service stations, supermarkets, parking facilities, and urban areas. Through interoperability agreements, Waylet users can access a network of more than 7,000 charging points via a single app.
