The transaction includes retail assets such as three Exxon service stations alongside cardlock and dealer supply accounts among more.
Rogers Petroleum has acquired Deloy L. Brown Petroleum, operator of fuel retail and c-store assets based in Crossville, Tennessee.
As announced by PetroActive Real Estate Services, which provided confidential advisory services to Deloy, the deal includes three Exxon convenience stores and dealer supply accounts. In addition, Rogers has also acquired an established commercial fuels and lubricants business with a commercial bulk plant facility and a cardlock, along with related equipment.
Deloy is a three-generation family business founded in 1958 by Deloy Brown, who was a commission agent for the company’s predecessor, a local Esso/Exxon affiliate in Crossville. Brown acquired the company 10 years later and founded Deloy L. Brown Petroleum. The company currently supplies petroleum products from Chattanooga to the south, north to the Kentucky state line and about sixty miles east and west of Crossville.
“This acquisition provides us with an important missing piece of the puzzle to strategically connect our growing central and east Tennessee operations,” said Chris Liposky, CEO of Rogers Petroleum.
As reported by news site CSP, Rodney Brown, son of Deloy and current president of the company, will continue to own and operate his fuel transportation business, Desaix Transport LLC in support of Rogers via fuel delivery services to the subject accounts and beyond.
