Tesla Diner in Hollywood takes charging hubs to a new level

EV manufacturer joins other players offering premium charging hubs that entertain drivers and create loyalty.

Tesla has unveiled a new flagship location in Hollywood, California, that merges fast charging, dining, and entertainment in a single destination. Known as the Tesla Diner, the site is positioned along the historic Route 66 and is designed to offer both Tesla and non-Tesla drivers an elevated charging experience.
The facility features 80 V4 Supercharger stalls compatible with all NACS-enabled electric vehicles, making it the largest urban Supercharging station in the world. To enhance sustainability, solar canopies cover the western charging lot, with Tesla estimating annual carbon emission reductions of approximately 26.6 million pounds of CO₂.
Beyond charging, the site functions as a 24/7 American diner with a retro-futuristic aesthetic. Customers can enjoy classic meals either inside or on the second-level Skypad, which offers city views and proximity to two massive 66-foot LED megascreens. Meals can be ordered in advance or on arrival through the in-car touchscreen, and are delivered directly to the driver’s side if preferred.
Entertainment is another key aspect of the location. Visitors can watch curated movies and special content from their vehicles or while dining, with the Tesla Diner app providing access and scheduling details.
Tesla is also offering location-exclusive merchandise, including a Hollywood-themed T-shirt and a 1:10-scale Tesla Bot action figure inspired by the company’s Gen 2 humanoid robot.
As energy players and CPOs continuously work on how to improve the design and operation of charging hubs, this new proposition by Tesla takes visitor experience to a whole new level.
