Access expands to four sites around Kuala Lumpur as pricing, membership and regulatory commitments come into focus.

Tesla has begun allowing non‑Tesla electric vehicles (EV) to charge at select Supercharger locations in Malaysia, opening access at four sites in and around Kuala Lumpur. The move marks the first significant step toward making part of its network brand‑agnostic in the country.
In the capital, Tesla has opened its Superchargers at Pavilion KL, where eight stalls offer up to 250 kW. Additional sites now accepting other EVs include i‑City Finance Avenue in Shah Alam, with four 250 kW chargers; IOI City Mall in Putrajaya, offering four stalls; and Gamuda Cove in Dengkil, where six units are available, as reported by electrive.
The company has set differentiated pricing for non‑Tesla users. Charging for Tesla vehicles costs 0.93 ringgit ($0.24) per kWh, while other EVs are billed at 1.80 ringgit ($0.46) per kWh. Congestion fees, applied for charging beyond 80% state of charge or remaining parked after the session ends, are the same for all users at 2 ringgit ($0.51) per minute.
The company also offers a subscription for frequent non‑Tesla users. For $12.99 per month, members pay 0.99 or 1.08 ringgit ($0.25–$0.27) per kWh, depending on location and time.
