Expansion supports the country’s shift to low-emission long-haul transport solutions.

THINK Gas is ramping up its support for cleaner heavy-duty transport with the rollout of six new liquefied natural gas (LNG) stations, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable mobility across India.
Following the successful operation of its flagship LNG station in Bagroda, Bhopal, the company announced the launch of three new LNG fueling hubs in Anantapur and Nellore (Andhra Pradesh) and Vallam (Tamil Nadu), expected to be operational by September 2025. An additional three stations will follow by December 2025, bringing the total number of new LNG fueling hubs to six.
The new stations are strategically located along key long-haul freight corridors and will be integrated with THINK Gas’s existing LCNG (Liquefied to Compressed Natural Gas) stations, according to BW Auto World.
“The addition of these six new LNG hubs at our LCNG stations marks a significant step in our mission to accelerate low-emission transport adoption in the heavy vehicle segment. We aim to support fleet operators with cost-effective, cleaner fuel solutions while contributing to India’s energy transition goals,” said Abhilesh Gupta, Managing Director and CEO of THINK Gas.
The company currently operates 18 LCNG stations across its authorized geographical areas, which are now being upgraded with LNG dispensing capabilities to meet rising demand in the logistics and freight sectors.
THINK Gas also operates India’s largest LNG carrier fleet, comprising 61 specialized transport trucks, ensuring a reliable supply of LNG nationwide.
