TotalEnergies has partnered with NXT Mobility to overcome grid limitations at its charging station in Heiloo. The brand has established a new NXT Charge location equipped with a battery-buffered fast charger, which enables fast charging up to 320kW with a small consumption connection.
This means that offering ultra fast charging is no longer hampered by limited power grid capacity. Despite a potential shortage on the grid due to increased charging demand, electric vehicle (EV) drivers can now charge up to 320 kW at TotalEnergies Vennewater in Heiloo.
The NXT ChargeBox works like a power bank: it charges at low power and releases the stored electricity while charging a vehicle at high power. It can charge one car with a charging capacity of up to 320 kW or two cars simultaneously with up to 160 kW.
While charging, customers can enjoy a sandwich or snack at the adjacent TotalEnergies Vennewater gas station. The shop features the shop formula Café Bonjour where freshly prepared products such as barista quality coffee, fresh juices and traditionally prepared sandwiches take center stage.
