UNITI expo 2026 unveils a Future Mobility Lounge bigger than ever
Published on: Mar 10, 2026
Around 50 companies including major industry players such as Tesla, Shell, and Volkswagen Group’s charging brand Elli, will showcase innovative solutions for the present and future of mobility in an alternative fuels dedicated area.

The shift to new types of energy has become a priority for the service station industry. To give this pivotal development the visibility it deserves and help drive the future of mobility, UNITI expo 2024 launched the Future Mobility Lounge. What started with 25 exhibitors spread across 1,000 m² has rapidly become a key part of Europe’s leading trade fair for the service station and car wash industries. Both the space and the exhibitor count have doubled, with around 50 companies set to showcase their latest innovations across 2,000 m².
Setting the course for tomorrow’s mobility
The Future Mobility Lounge will be located on the gallery of Hall 1 (connecting to Hall 3) of Messe Stuttgart. The dedicated area is attracting record interest from both exhibitors and visitors. On 19 – 21 May 2026, attendees will be able to explore cutting‑edge solutions for EV charging, renewable fuels, hydrogen, and natural gas-based fuels, all together in one location.
All major players, including e-mobility leader Tesla, are leveraging this unique platform to unveil their latest developments. “Tesla operates the world’s largest fast‑charging network, with more than 75,000 chargers. To give partners access to a proven, high‑performance charging infrastructure, Tesla now also offers its Superchargers as white‑label hardware for service stations and truck stops. As part of the Future Mobility Lounge, Tesla will showcase its latest generation of Superchargers, capable of charging both cars and trucks,” Tesla Germany GmbH states.
Leading mobility players such as Shell, Q1, and Avia will exhibit practical concepts and solutions at the Future Mobility Lounge. Hardware and software providers will complement this with technologies and services that highlight the next stages of mobility.
Another key focus is e‑fuels, with suppliers and research partners presenting the latest developments and offering exclusive insights into ongoing projects. In the dedicated Future Mobility Forum, thought‑provoking talks and discussions on synthetic fuels will offer fresh inspiration for the future.
Future Mobility Lounge, an essential industry hub
Elmar Kühn, Managing Director of UNITI Bundesverband EnergieMittelstand e. V. and organiser of UNITI expo, underscores the importance of the Future Mobility Lounge amidst the industry’s current transformation: “The Future Mobility Lounge reflects just how dynamic the shift toward alternative fuels has become: that it is no longer a niche topic for our members. This is why we, as a federal association, will also be present with our own stand, creating a hub for exchange and guidance.”
Numerous UNITI expo exhibitors have already secured additional presence within the Future Mobility Lounge, while new exhibitors focusing exclusively on this dedicated area are also preparing to welcome visitors.
“This special exhibition area allows us to reach an even broader target audience and attract entirely new participant groups. Companies still interested in exhibiting should seize the opportunity now as there are still attractive exhibitor packages available,” says Ben Boroewitsch, CEO of com-a-tec GmbH and co-organiser of the trade fair. “The Future Mobility Lounge is increasingly becoming a must‑see highlight for visitors, and we’re well prepared to keep up with this growing demand. The gallery in Hall 1 provides enough space to expand it even further in the future.”
