Ampol Foodary launches new coffee blend

The retailer celebrated this debut with a new marketing campaign titled 'It's meant to be,' celebrating the mix of the two beans needed for the new blend.

Ampol has launched a new blend of coffee with a fresh brew for its Foodary branch, the fuel retailer’s food service brand.
The new bean blend is made up of the bold and strong flavors of Robusta and the complex, delicate profile of Arabica. Both ingredients are globally sourced for their flavor, locally roasted in Melbourne and freshly ground in-stores.
The company debuted this product via its new 'It's meant to be' campaign, which celebrates the union of these two beans in a cup, by romanticizing a love story between them. Customers that taste the new Foodary coffee will experience an aroma of dried fruit, a nutty almond character and pronounced earthiness.
"We have scoured the globe to find the beans that create a perfectly balanced cup of coffee; a blend that is bold, full of flavor and of course freshly ground in store. Through this campaign we want to ignite the passion for our coffee with our customers that visit us every day, while attracting new customers to try a new and delicious blend,” said Jenny O'Regan, Chief Brand Officer at Ampol Australia.
To celebrate the launch of the new blend, every Friday from 4 August to 1 September, customers that make a qualifying shop purchase at participating Ampol Foodary and Ampol Woolworths MetroGo stores can claim a free regular hot coffee.
