Kum & Go levels up cashback offers

The retailer has expanded its partnership with the Upside platform to drive transactions across over 200 locations.

Kum & Go has expanded its partnership with Upside by extending services across its retail network in the U.S.

The platform will now offer cash back promotions at 203 convenience stores in addition to the existing cash back offers available at the pump. This development follows their initial partnership, started in November 2022. 

The platform’s machine learning technology offers personalized cash back promotions that motivate customers to visit participating retailer locations. With this model, the chain aims to increase pump-to-store conversion, trip frequency, and basket size without up-front costs and the need for additional staff training or integrating add-on systems.

As we continually look at ways to retain and grow our customer base, we’re excited to evolve our partnership with Upside to encourage customers to shop inside our convenience stores in addition to filling up their gas tanks outside,” said Kristin Jarabek, Vice President of Category Management at Kum & Go.

Upside currently works with over 50,000 nationwide gas stations, c-stores, grocery stores and restaurants to help retailers reach new customers and convert them into habitual buyers.
