Sites offer bikers a set of tools for basic maintenance as well as a QR code to scan to check instructions for the less experienced.

Orlen Benzina has added bike services across 35 service stations, which include racks along with service points. In addition, ten locations have also integrated charging stations for electric bikes.
The new equipment has been installed in sites located at tourist-attractive areas near cycle paths across the Czech Republic. Electric bike riders will be able to refuel at Benzina stations in České Budějovice - Vltavské nábřeží, in Třeboň, Doksy, Špindlerův Mlýn, Vrchlabí, Slavonice, Valtice and Mikulov, in Velké Losiny and in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm.
Bike racks are equipped with tools from German and American manufacturers, with which all the necessary basic service tasks can be carried out. Included are a flathead screwdriver, a set of Allen wrenches, a flat and adjustable wrench, three mounting pairs and a manual pump. For the less experienced, there is a QR code on the stand which, when scanned with a smartphone, provides clear and easy-to-understand instructions for repairing or adjusting the bike.
"We have verified that many of our customers are active cycling fans. That is why we supported the idea of our colleagues to create a haven at selected Orlen Benzina stations with the necessary equipment for basic maintenance and servicing of bicycles," said Zbigniew Leszczyński, member of the Orlen Unipetrol Group Board of Directors and responsible for retail.
Service stands at Benzina stations can be used not only by cyclists for their bicycles, but also by the general public for prams or wheelchairs. The project is part of a programme to modernize the petrol station network, which also includes new infrastructure for hydrogen and electric cars.
