Lekkerland has opened its third REWE To Go Smart Store at the Kreisklinik Groß-Gerau in Hesse. This new 30-square-meter store offers around-the-clock service for hospital staff, patients, and visitors. The store provides a range of approximately 300 products, including coffee, snacks, ice cream, beverages, and a small selection of drugstore items. The store operates with a cashless, self-checkout system.

REWE To Go, a brand known for its convenience-focused stores at service stations, has been expanding its presence in semi-public spaces like hospitals and office buildings. These smart stores are part of a broader trend in retail. The smart kiosk concept is one of five innovative store solutions offered by Lekkerland, a subsidiary of REWE Group that specializes in convenience retailing.

This marks another step in REWE's ongoing strategy to integrate modern retail solutions into locations where convenience is key.

REWE, founded in 1927, is one of the largest food retail companies in Germany, with a diverse portfolio that includes supermarkets, convenience stores, and service stations.
