Spar grows retail network in Spain

New branded stores and redesigns have been launched in Girona, Gran Canaria and La Coruña regions.
Spar Spain partners in the Girona, Gran Canaria, and La Coruña regions have launched four new supermarkets and redesigned three stores.
Valvi Supermercados, in Girona, have expanded the Spar brand with three new locations: two new standard stores and a supermarket focusing on local products from the region. Additionally, Valvi refurbished its store in Riudarenes de la Selva to better meet the needs of the local community.
These openings reflect Valvi’s commitment to offer a comprehensive shopping experience through a diverse product range in its stores.
Spar Gran Canaria recently renovated the store at La Garita, continuing to optimize its network while offering quality service to customers. It has also expanded its Siete Palmas supermarket, with new team members and enhanced aesthetics and infrastructure while introducing new services and sections.
These refurbishments place a strong emphasis on energy efficiency by optimizing refrigeration and introducing electronic labeling.
A new Spar Express store opened in La Coruña, offering 1,300 products in a 150m² area, including Spar Own Brand and leading brands. In addition, dedicated sections for fruit and vegetable, delicatessen, and butchery, provide customers with a diverse selection of fresh products.
