Deutsche Tamoil has partnered with the start-up anybill to digitize operations and open a new channel to promote products and offers.

Deutsche Tamoil GmbH is collaborating with the start-up anybill and HUTH Elektronik Systeme GmbH to unlock digital receipts at 400 HEM service stations.
In response to rising commodity prices, digital receipts are now being introduced at the company's fuel retail chain. Thus, the service station chain is establishing a new customer channel.
The switch to digital receipts is part of an optimization of processes at petrol stations and helps to minimize the carbon footprint at the same time. The collaboration with anybill enables seamless integration of the service into the existing POS system of HUTH Elektronik Systeme GmbH.
Thanks to the cooperation with anybill, it is also possible to use advertising space on digital receipts to inform customers specifically about the products on offer at HEM petrol stations.
"The switch to digital receipts is a further step towards digitalization. The partnership with HUTH and anybill enables us to offer our customers a modern and efficient service and added value," said Oliver Behrens, Head of Payment Systems and Mobility Technologies at Deutsche Tamoil.
With more than 400 stations, Deutsche Tamoil is one of the ten largest service station companies in Germany. The Hamburg-based company is part of the Dutch Oilinvest Group, which operates around 2,450 stations across Europe and its own refinery in Hamburg.
