The sites will be established in North America following the company’s latest format based on an expanded product and foodservice offering.

Seven & i Holdings is planning a 600-location expansion across North America for its newest 7-Eleven convenience store concept.
The Japanese company revealed the information in an investor presentation posted last Thursday, as reported by C-Store Dive. These large-format stores are set to include an expanded product assortment and foodservice offering for customers, internally called “New Standard stores.”
The openings are expected to be completed by 2027 and are part of the company’s strategy to restructure operations to improve its financial position for North American operations.
This “New Standard” concept would become the first new format for the company since the launch of its Evolution store concept back in March 2019. These 7-Eleven locations also featured a particular focus on foodservice, as it integrated Laredo Taco Company restaurants, the chain’s Mexican quick-service restaurant brand.
According to the news portal, the company’s CEO, Joseph DePinto, told investors that this new format is the result of studying the previous concept’s performance over the past years.
