This new addition to the company’s charging network is part of its partnership with Mirvac to grow e-mobility services across Australia.

Ampol has unveiled six new AmpCharge electric vehicle (EV) charging bays at East Village Shopping Centre in Zetland.
These chargers are the beginning of the company’s planned rollout to third-party portfolio sites, providing customers with greater access to EV charging infrastructure at convenient locations across Australia.
"Having just unveiled our 100th AmpCharge public charger bay, we recognize our electric vehicle charging ecosystem has the potential to play a critical role in supporting customers to reduce their transport emissions. As our customers look to alternative mobility technologies, we are well placed to support them on their journeys," said Brent Merrick, Executive General Manager, Commercial Fuels and Energy at Ampol.
The installation of the first AmpCharge EV charging bays outside of its retail convenience network is part of a partnership with Mirvac.
"Since first installing charging capabilities in our retail centers over seven years ago, EV sales have continued to grow across Australia with more consumers embracing a sustainable future. As a result, we have seen a significant rise in the usage of our charging stations with a 60% increase in customer utilization in the past year and charging bays often at capacity," added Alison Flemming, General Manager for Retail at Mirvac.
