Asda taps delivery services to expand Café menu’s reach

A total of 129 new locations will be able to deliver the menu’s dishes via a brand-new partnership with the Just Eat platform.
Customers across the UK can now access Asda Café’s menu and have their favorite products delivered via a new partnership with Just Eat.
The 129 new locations that can offer delivery services are up and down the UK – from Ipswich to Inverness. The roll-out follows a successful trial in 42 stores, taking the total number of locations to 171. During the pilot period, thousands of customers placed orders each week with Pizzas proving to be the most popular item.
This launch is part of the retailer’s strategy to increase quick commerce presence as a means of bringing branded products to more customers in a way that’s convenient to them.
“This expansion with Just Eat helps to bolster our strategy to bring Asda value and quality to more communities across the UK by giving customers the ability to purchase their favorite Asda products whenever and however they like,” commented an Asda spokesperson about the expansion.
The Asda Café offering via Just Eat will sit alongside Asda’s current grocery offering with the delivery giant where customers can have their shopping essentials delivered to their door in a matter of minutes.
