Astron Energy rebrand achieves the 200th site milestone

The South African retailer managed to rebrand 100 Caltex stations in just four months.
In July 2023, Astron Energy celebrated the incredible milestone of 100 rebranded sites and set the target of reaching the next 100 before the end of 2023. Over four months, a further 100 sites were completed and Astron Energy achieved the 200th service station in early November.
Astron Energy has made significant progress and has built a strong foundation to ensure a systematic execution on the ground. The project team have worked incredibly tirelessly to achieve over 200 sites in such a short time, whilst proudly maintaining their safety record of zero loss time incidents, according to Astron Energy.
“Our teams on the ground are continuing to work tirelessly to ensure that we end the year strong and reach over 230 rebranded sites by year-end. We know that the encouragement, support, and energy from across the business and our retail network motivates and inspires the team to continue to put their best foot forward,” said Thabiet Booley, CEO.
In 2021, Astron Energy revealed its new brand identity and project to rebrand 850 Caltex service stations in South Africa and Botswana.
