MADIC UK and BigBrother International have formed a new technology partnership to deliver an integrated POS–CCTV system aimed at improving security and operational control in the fuel retail sector.

The collaboration links point-of-sale transaction data directly with corresponding CCTV footage, allowing operators to match each sale with visual evidence. The integration is designed to support loss prevention, streamline investigations, and provide clearer insights into daily activity on the forecourt and in-store.

Aart van Rooijen, CEO of BigBrother International, said: “With this integration, fuel retailers can immediately gain greater visibility and control over their operations. The ability to connect transaction data with visual evidence transforms how operators prevent losses, monitor activity, and streamline processes.”

By combining transactional records with image data, including licence plate recognition, the system allows retailers to search for specific incidents such as cancelled transactions, corrected payments, or disputed sales, without manually reviewing hours of footage.

Adrian Felton, Managing Director of MADIC UK, highlighted the value of combining the two companies’ technologies: “This partnership combines the best of POS and security technology to deliver tangible benefits for our customers. By uniting secure transactions with clear video evidence, we are equipping retailers with the tools they need to operate more intelligently and securely.”

As forecourts become more complex and staff manage a broader range of tasks, the companies expect integrated solutions like this one to play a growing role in improving oversight and enhancing the customer experience.
