Last update: Apr 25, 2025

The site features 20 DC fast charging bays with a combination of 150kW and 400kW chargers.

bp pulse has launched its first electric vehicle charging Gigahub in Massachusetts, expanding its U.S. network to 17 states. Located just north of Boston Logan International Airport at Hertz’s facility, the site features 20 DC fast charging bays with a combination of 150kW and 400kW chargers.

The project forms part of bp pulse’s strategy to develop high-demand charging locations in collaboration with rental company Hertz.

To celebrate the opening, bp pulse is offering a promotional launch rate of $0.36 per kilowatt-hour, excluding taxes and fees, available for a limited time. The chargers are powered by local utility Eversource, which supports the state’s push toward clean transportation.

Sujay Sharma, CEO of bp pulse Americas, said the Boston Gigahub represents a significant step in building a strategic and robust charging network. “Airport locations in particular enable us to offer efficient and convenient charging solutions for EV drivers, rental car customers, and ride-hail drivers alike,” he stated.

The initiative was welcomed by Eversource and Hertz, both highlighting the importance of accessible charging infrastructure for rideshare users and the general public. With additional Gigahub sites in development across the country, bp pulse continues to advance its goal of making EV charging more convenient and widespread.
