CEVA Logistics has announced the rollout of a nationwide low-carbon road transport network in the UK, powered by HVO100 biofuel.

The move is enabled by significant investment in biofuel infrastructure at 18 key locations, providing the backbone for a greener logistics operation across the country. This initiative marks a major step in CEVA’s efforts to decarbonise its UK road fleet, which currently includes approximately 200 vehicles running on HVO.

With the new infrastructure in place, the company aims to more than double that number, targeting 450 HVO-powered vehicles by the end of 2025.

“By investing now in solutions like HVO fuel, we are leading the way for a sustainable, more responsible industry,” said Paul Farr, Managing Director of Ground & Rail for Northwest Europe at CEVA Logistics.

The new biofuel network forms part of CEVA’s broader FORPLANET initiative, which aims to help customers reduce the environmental footprint of their supply chains through sustainable logistics solutions. The company already operates more than 550 trucks across Europe using HVO100 and B100 biofuels, saving an estimated 14,000 tonnes of CO₂ annually.

With this latest move, CEVA strengthens its position as a leader in low-carbon logistics and demonstrates how large-scale infrastructure investments can drive tangible progress toward climate goals.
