Circle K Ireland has announced it will be teaming up with former Olympian and current RTE broadcaster, David Gillick network ambassador.

Gillick comes off interviewing some of the world’s top athletes at the Paris Olympics last year and will star in a series of videos focusing on the brand’s growth in the e-mobility sector. The company will release these videos throughout the year showcasing the latest developments of the chain in this area.

Circle K has been making progress in EV charging and now has 14 super-fast charging locations across Ireland. The electricity used to power EVs is all fully renewable and comes from Irish solar farms.

In addition, there are eight  sites ready and awaiting energisation by the ESB and another eight are set to be established before May 2025.

Last year, Circle K announced a new partnership with Ionity to roll out EV charging capabilities across 30 new sites through a €7 million investment.
