Circle K has expanded its fuel retail network in Poland up to 400 locations with its latest opening at the end of July. The new site, located in Wozniki, is part of the retailer's ongoing growth strategy to extend its footprint across the country.

The company stated that it has plans to further expand nationwide in the next few years by opening own and franchised sites. Alongside this strategy, the company also aims to develop its convenience format as well as deploying more solutions for supporting e-mobility.

"Poland remains an attractive market for the Alimentation Couche-Tard group. What's more, using our owner's experience, we are constantly trying to introduce new solutions, such as self-service cash registers and an automatic fuel payment system. In this way, we aim to develop our competitiveness in the convenience area," said Sigitas Raila, CEO at Circle K Poland.

Last year the company reached a record in new station openings, with a total of 20 locations opened under the franchise model and two owned and operated by the brand. Currently, the network is composed of 400 stations - 275 own and 125 franchised stations.

Circle K has been present on the Polish market since 1992 and had 393 stations at the end of 2022. Since 2012, the company has been owned by Canadian company Alimentation Couche-Tard, one of the world's largest retailers.
