The company is already working on rolling out the first Go Stations in both Chile and Colombia’s capitals.

Copec has signed an agreement with Taiwanese startup Gogoro to launch its interchangeable battery system for motorcycles in Latin America.
This alliance marks a milestone for two-wheeled e-mobility's development in the country. The company is currently working on establishing the first Latin American network of "Go Stations", with Santiago de Chile and Bogota in Colombia being the first territories to welcome these facilities.
The system allows drivers to change their discharged battery at the station and take a fully charged one with them.
"The alliance with Gogoro will allow us to extend the benefits of electromobility and generate a positive impact on people through a pioneering service in the region," said Arturo Natho, General Manager of Copec.
The installation contemplates an energy subscription method that will be adjusted to the needs of each driver. Thus, it is estimated that there will be a 15% saving in the load for urban users and 25% on average for last-mile delivery drivers, compared to a traditional motorcycle.
