H2 Mobility received funding approval to establish a new hydrogen refueling station in Bavaria on the A6 motorway.

Bavaria’s State Secretary for Economic Affairs and Energy, Tobias Gotthardt, handed over the funding certificate worth €2 million to the company. The new refuelling facility will cater to buses and trucks (350 bar) as well as light commercial vehicles, waste collectors and cars (700 bar).

“Thanks to its strategic location on the Rhine-Danube transport corridor towards the Czech Republic, the refueling station will play a central role in supplying commercial vehicles such as trucks and buses with green hydrogen. With several thousand trucks using this transport route every day, the location offers enormous potential,” said Dominik Herzog, Deputy Director Sales & Business Development at H2 Mobility.

Local project partner is the Widmann car dealership group, which actively supports the securing of demand for hydrogen at this location with its network of business partners and customers from the commercial vehicle segment.

The car dealership in Ebermannsdorf is already a contact point for the fleet induction and maintenance of Hyundai fuel cell trucks. Construction of the refueling station on the Widmann dealership site is scheduled to start in the first half of 2026.
