Kärcher introduces K!Control SB, a new control and payment system that replaces the existing operating terminals used in self‑service car wash bays.
With the K!Control SB, Kärcher presents a new start and payment system that replaces the previous operating terminals for self-service wash systems and makes vehicle washes more intuitive and convenient for customers.
K!Control SB is characterised by its high level of user friendliness, an attractive look and digital payment options. Operators of self-service wash systems and clean parks benefit from the attractive appearance and modern technology.
A central feature of the new system is the extended range of payment options. K!Control SB allows customers of vehicle wash systems to pay with their preferred digital or physical payment methods in the wash bay. Common payment systems such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, debit cards and credit cards are supported.
The start and payment system is also equipped with a bright, colourful 7" HMI screen that displays all relevant information at a glance. Customers can view their remaining washing time, remaining credit, as well as the costs of the selecting wash programme, at any time during the washing process. The wash programme is selected using a robust, easy-to-use rotary knob.
K!Control SB boasts a high-quality, simple design with a glass front and stainless steel base component. Optional illuminated side stripes can increase visibility and enable customisation of the appearance of the vehicle wash system, which also attracts attention from passing vehicles. In addition to installation at the walls of the wash bay, operators also have the option to equip the system with a pedestal and position it on the ground for better perception.
K!Control SB is available in different configuration options: with coin acceptor, with card terminal or in a combined version. A version without coin acceptor for using external, locally supplied card terminals is also available.
The start and payment system is available in 15 languages, including German, English, French and Spanish.
