Published on: May 31, 2024

This new venture called EVA will promote the use of LNG and CNG in road transportation.

Limagas and Grupo HAM have created a new company called EVA (Energy of Environmental Value) to promote the use of LNG and CNG in road transport. They plan to open between 10 and 15 service stations by December 2025.

The first EVA service stations will be located along the Pan-American Highway, a road system that connects nearly all countries in the Americas, spanning over 17,800 km. These LNG supply points will be situated in Mala, Nasca, and Arequipa.

The LNG service station in Mala will be operational in June, while the Nasca and Arequipa stations are expected to start offering services in the second half of the year.

With the creation of EVA (Energy of Environmental Value), Grupo HAM and Limagas are strengthening their presence in Peru by developing a significant growth strategy and leveraging the opportunities Peru offers to boost the use of natural gas vehicles in the country. They aim to become a leading figure in the Latin American energy sector.
