Moeve, formerly known as Cepsa, has hit a significant milestone in its energy transition journey by reaching 100 service stations equipped with ultra-fast electric charging points across the Iberian Peninsula.

Most of these charging points are strategically located along major transport corridors in both Spain and Portugal. Each charger delivers a minimum power output of 150 kW and is placed at essential hubs that link five major arteries across the Peninsula: the Mediterranean Corridor, the Ruta de la Plata, the route connecting Portugal and France, and key motorways in Portugal.

"We are maximizing the potential of our network, taking advantage of service stations already situated in strategic locations to roll out accessible charging points for electric vehicle users. We also aim to be recognized as a quality operator, providing our customers with the best possible experience through ultra-fast charging, which is synonymous with time savings," stated Isabel Gorgoso, Director of New Mobility at Moeve.

Out of the more than 220 high-power charging points currently in operation, approximately 70% are located in Spain and 30% in Portugal. In addition to the operational points, the company has at least 200 more chargers that are fully constructed but pending authorization.

All of Moeve's operational network is designed to be publicly and freely accessible, allowing users to pay by card without needing any registration or app, making it as convenient as possible for electric vehicle owners.
