Nissan has launched a new charge network service that allows drivers to use their MyNISSAN app to find charging stations.

This will enable Nissan Ariya and future Nissan EV drivers to check real-time charger availability and pay for charging – all in one streamlined experience. Encompassing more than 90,000 fast chargers in the United States, charging partners include Electrify America,  Shell Recharge, ChargePoint and EVgo.

With plans to incorporate additional networks in the future, this enhancement to the app simplifies EV ownership by consolidating vehicle management and public charging into one app.

Users store a default payment method in the platform and can tap an on-screen button to start a charging session within the NISSAN ENERGY Charge Network. This new feature will be available to app users by November 2024.

EVs are a core part of Nissan’s efforts to drive toward a future of more sustainable mobility, as it intends to launch 16 new electrified models globally by the end of fiscal year 2026.
