Equipped with three dispensers, the Poznan-based site has been designed to refuel trucks, buses and passenger vehicles.

ORLEN has launched its first all-access, 24-hour hydrogen station in Poland, to cater to passenger cars, trucks and buses.
The Poznan station will power a fleet of 25 buses owned by the Municipal Transport Company in Poznan while the company will supply 1.8 million kilograms of hydrogen over 15 years. Operating around the clock, the facility is open to the public, which means that not only MPK Poznań buses, but also all users of hydrogen-fueled vehicles can refuel on site.
This opening is part of the Clean Cities project, subsidized by EU funds under the CEF instrument and national funds from the "Green Public Transport" program.
“The construction of refueling stations for this fuel is, on the one hand, a response to the growing demand of local governments such as Poznań, which is developing urban transport towards zero-emission, and on the other hand, an important element in the implementation of the company's strategic goals," said Artur Osuchowski, ORLEN Board Member for Energy and Energy Transformation.
Currently there are three dispensers available, two with a pressure of 350 bar for refueling buses and trucks, and an additional one with a pressure of 700 bar designed for cars.
Orlen’s station allows more than one ton of hydrogen to be refueled per day, which is enough to refuel 34 city buses and several passenger vehicles.
