Oxxo launches cash deposit service alongside Nu México

New partnership enables over 11 million Nu customers to deposit cash at 23,000 stores nationwide without a card.

Oxxo and Nu México have announced the launch of a nationwide cash deposit service, allowing Nu customers to securely and conveniently fund their debit accounts at more than 23,000 stores. 

This development expands the collaboration between the two companies that began earlier this year. With this new service, Nu’s more than 11 million customers can deposit funds using a deposit code, eliminating the need for a physical card.

“This effort reinforces our commitment to making financial transactions easier and supporting financial inclusion in the communities we serve,” said Eduardo Velasco Garza, Director of Oxxo Services.

The solution aims to simplify access to digital financial services, particularly for the many Mexicans who still rely heavily on cash in their daily lives.

“This collaboration allows us to offer customers more convenient and secure financial management options, emphasizing the importance of integrating digital solutions with physical touchpoints to bridge Mexico’s financial inclusion gap,” added Iván Canales, General Manager of Nu México.

Through this collaboration, Oxxo and Nu México reaffirm their joint commitment to expanding access to financial services by combining technology and physical presence to deliver practical and inclusive solutions across the country.
