Pilot boosts retail network with site expansions

Published on: Jul 21, 2025

Recent additions to the network include sites in Louisiana, Colorado, Texas, and British Columbia.

Pilot is advancing its travel center network with a series of new store openings and site renovations across the U.S. and Canada, supporting increased summer traffic.

Recent additions to the network include sites in Louisiana, Colorado, Texas, and British Columbia, as well as two new dealer-operated locations in California and Wisconsin. These expansions reflect a continued effort to strengthen Pilot’s physical presence along major travel and freight corridors, with the company now serving an average of 1.2 million guests daily.

The second quarter also saw upgrades completed at 11 existing sites in markets such as Florida, Oregon, California, Indiana, and Pennsylvania. The renovation program targets layout improvements and updated amenities, aimed at raising the baseline experience for both passenger and commercial vehicle users.

Beyond physical infrastructure, Pilot has continued growing its alternative fuels and EV charging footprint. Since March, EV fast-charging has been added to 36 additional locations across 35 states, while two of the company’s sites—in Illinois and Iowa—have introduced B99 biodiesel pumps, marking a first for retail availability of this fuel grade to commercial drivers in the U.S.

Pilot is hiring 7,500 new team members this summer and continues to channel resources into local school districts through its “Miles of Good” initiative, tied to new store launches and site upgrades. Since 2020, the program has directed over $14.9 million to philanthropic causes.
