Shell partners with sneleentaxi in the Netherlands

Drivers of the cab service will now be able to access different benefits through the company’s Fleet App.
Shell has partnered with Dutch transport service sneleentaxi to offer exclusive benefits to affiliated drivers through a special version of the Shell Fleet App. Drivers will be able to order one to ten passes through the platform to benefit from discounts on electric charging and fast charging.
The mobility company’s Recharge network in the Netherlands now consists of hundreds of electric charging providers and more than 500 fast chargers. This new partnership leverages the firm’s recent developments to support the transition into a cleaner future.
"We are delighted that, in addition to lots of great rides, we can now offer drivers exclusive benefits through Shell. We noticed that the number of electric cabs still lags behind the demand. Shell's ample supply makes it easier for drivers to switch to an electric car," said Sven Braam, general manager of sneleentaxi.
Sneleentaxi was founded in 2015 and offers a broad solution for transportation throughout the Netherlands. The service aims to make it easy for passengers and drivers to find each other by organizing journeys as efficiently as possible.
