SPAR Slovenia invests in retail network

Two new stores and one renovated location were inaugurated in February and March by the brand alongside independent retailers.
SPAR Slovenia has invested in the retail development of its store network across the country alongside independent retailers.
Two new stores and one renovated site were opened in February and March. After ten months of construction work, Slovenj Gradec welcomed a new Supermarket, the second to open in the town, with a sales area of approximately 1,156m2.
The store combines a modernized appearance incorporating sustainable solutions, such as LED lighting and a modern heating and cooling system using 100% natural CO2 gas reflecting the brand’s sustainability focus.
In February, SPAR Slovenia’s second independent retailer-run store was opened in Majšperk. The 700m2 store has a modern appearance and is focused on customer convenience, offering a wide selection of food products, including SPAR Own Brand as well as a great fresh assortment.
In addition, the retailer reopened a 21 year-old store in March, after two months of extensive renovations. The refurbishments focused on the fresh departments and customers’ convenience, with four self checkouts now available.
