Tank & Rast launches new restaurant concept at select locations in Germany

Over 20 service stations have been completely remodeled to include a modernized interior layout to enhance customer experience.

Tank & Rast (T&R) has modernized stores at selected service stations across Germany. So far, over 20 locations have already been remodeled with a revamped interior design and new amenities.

The redesign’s focus is to further improve the customer experience in the guest area. The new concept features a modern design and the use of many digital elements such as self-order terminals and displays to enhance the quality of the customer experience. Approximately 20 more sites are to follow by the end of 2023.

Redesigned stores now provide various seating areas where guests can relax during their break. Together with the introduction of digital elements such as displays and ordering terminals, this facilitates orientation in the service area and improves the overall customer experience.

A contemporary ambience was created during the redesign of the guest areas. The choice of colors, materials and lighting helps in creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. These adjustments are in line with T&R's new "made to order" food concept rolled out last year, with fewer counters and display cases, making the interior of the service area seem more airy.
