TEAL Mobility has joined the H2Accelerate collaboration as its eighth member to support the deployment of over 100 hydrogen refueling stations for heavy-duty vehicles across Europe.

The company is already making significant strides towards this target, implementing plans to operate around 20 hydrogen stations in France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, and Germany by the end of 2024. TEAL is a joint-venture created by Air Liquide and TotalEnergies in an effort to achieve the European Union’s 2030 HDV CO2 targets.

“TEAL Mobility is committed to fast-tracking hydrogen mobility. This is best achieved through a collaborative effort between refueling infrastructure providers and vehicle OEMs, to create the complementary growth of both supply and demand that is needed to make hydrogen trucking viable,” said Florentin de Loppinot, CEO of TEAL Mobility.

The development of hydrogen refueling infrastructure is completely aligned with the H2Accelerate collaboration’s ambitions to accelerate the uptake of green hydrogen for trucking in Europe. The organization brings together hydrogen vehicle manufacturers and infrastructure providers.

Existing members of H2Accelerate include bp, Daimler Truck, Iveco Group, Linde, Shell, TotalEnergies, Volvo Group, and now TEAL Mobility.
